Sunny day,
You spit,
The Koi fish
In the emerald
Pool are fast
To swallow lazy.
Bent-tipped on knees
You jab
Down the ice
Cold, they dart
Leaving you
Some pennies .
You stretch-pluck
An only eagled quarter
On slimed bottom,
Shake dry and insert
To feeder box
Crank chrome knob
One full turn filling
Palm with pellets.
Toss.
Cold fish fast assemble
Swallow lazy
And you jab.
